Downtown St. Pete City Elopement
Katja + Bert, MY GOODNESS, Katja + Bert. In the most intimate and intentional ceremony outside the St. Petersburg Courthouse, these two officially tied the knot after 14 years together. Fun fact: if you elope at the courthouse in Downtown St. Pete, you can request to do your ceremony outside! Highly recommend doing so just outside the steps of the courthouse-much more photo friendly than inside ;) Katja and Bert both shared personal vows with each other and then we headed over to the steps and streets next to City Hall to capture some chic city elopement photos. Together they celebrated with a brunch at The Library, a dinner at Urban Stillhouse with friends and then jet setted off to Japan for their incredible honeymoon!
I am LOVING these city elopements lately, and the intimacy that comes along with them. Without all the pomp and circumstance of a big wedding, these elopements really remind you what getting married is all about- the two of you, dedicating your love and life to each other. It really is a beautiful thing to withness and to capture.
