Tampa Riverwalk Wedding with Dena + Garrett

Dena + Garretts Downtown Tampa Wedding Day, was chic, classic, elegant and full of energy. When Dena and I first spoke during her inquiry call, she explained that she was looking for lots of classic imagery, with a focus on black and white. She wanted her gallery to feel timeless and I think we accomplished her vision. Not only was Dena absolutely stunning, but she is as equally beautiful on the inside, and it shone through all day as I watched her interact with her family and friends.

In the Bridal Suite, one of my favorite moments from the morning was Dena + her mothers wedding dress hanging side by side. Dena wanted to take some photographs of both of their dresses hanging together, as well as to share a sweet moment with her mom. It was such a unique addition to the wedding morning, and I loved seeing the beauty in the differences in their wedding dresses. Her sisters, and niece helped her into her dress, and then it was time for her first look with Garrett. Their first look was intimate, just the two of them (+ me of course), and they shared a few moments of calm before they said I do.

Their ceremony was in a room full of windows overlooking the Tampa Riverwalk, and was full of family and friends from all over the country, and the world. The Tampa Riverwalk Hotel provided the perfect backdrop for this gorgeous day. As a Tampa wedding photographer, my goal is always capture the essence of each of my couples love story in every image. From intimate portraits to candid moments, like the gift of a gold bracelet from her grandmother, to the Arabic DJ who drummed them into the reception which had everyone on their feet, to their stroll through Downtown Tampa to capture their first portraits as husband and wife.

Dena and Garrett's wedding day at The Tampa Riverwalk Hotel was a celebration of love, romance, and pure happiness. From the stunning waterfront setting to the heartfelt moments shared between the couple and their guests, it was a day filled with memories that will last a lifetime. As a Tampa wedding photographer, I feel privileged to have been a part of their special day and to have captured the magic of their love story for generations to come.
